Dark red in colour, this potion smells of clove and wood-smoke, and is curiously warm on the tongue. The flavour of it is reminiscent of a mulled wine, from the noble grapes pressed and processed for its creation - though its effect is much different in nature. A quarter bell after consumption will see the drinker at full, dizzy peace - with themselves, with their deeds, with their demons. Bliss tearing through muscle and bone. Side effects include tingling lips, warm extremities, and a willingness to forget your horrible troubles for three to four bells. Heavy on the tongue, for the things a person wants to forget are often weighted in nature.
Esuna
Not for the faint of heart, or for the faint of willpower. This drug will see you so pleased, so happy, so blissful - that you will forgive even your worst enemy. Be careful, however, for it can be highly addictive, and the crash will see you sent sideways.A pale, chilly looking blue. The brew glows faintly, but is otherwise unremarkable. It has a cloying scent, which can give a person a bit of a high by mere inhalation.
Horoscope
Can you see the future? Certainly, with this well made tonic. You will certainly see something, at least. Who is to say it won't be the future?Electric green, smelling of pepper and ozone. The potion glows brightly, and can almost be used as a nightlight if the colour weren’t so vaguely off putting. It is thick and feels more like a heavy syrup in the mouth. Tastes like licking a tree might, and is generally unpleasant
Ascend
Do you feel a little tired? Exhausted? This helpful restorative will see you up on your feet and moving. It will wear off eventually, of course, but who doesn't like a little pep in their step for a while? The spiced taste of amber cloves, the scent of winter. A brew to set you rising from the dead.Bright and shimmering red, smelling of cloves and snow. A light feeling on the tongue that leaves the mouth very warm and tingly after it is taken
Combust
This warming mixture, crafted with clary sage, coneflower, and rue will heal you just as well as it bolsters you. When imbibed, it will imbue the body with a sweet little buzzing sensation that sets the blood to singing. It induces a subtle high, but will make the body hot to the touch.An amber colour, nearly glittering where it sits. It smells of whiskey, and of ginger. It tastes much like a stiff drink would, though the effects are more long lasting and nearly instantaneous
microcosmos
A greater hallucinogen that will set the drinker sitting in their own field of stars, seemingly held aloft within the endless cosmos. Depending on the dose this potion can last anywhere from a bell to three bells. For most, this would be a peaceful experience. Meant to be done with friends or alone. Invented because Yesui liked looking at stars.The potion is a deep blue with a gentle silver glow, the taste is similar to rainwater, and the texture is almost fog-like on the tongue.
Exaltation
A bubble like film will wrap around the drinker while they sit in quiet bliss on the inside. Unable to be touched or spoken to - deaf and dumb to everything around them until the potion runs its course. In high doses it can last half a day.The potion is almost clear, though when it is shaken it seems to fill with the light of a distant moon. Tastes just a touch bitter, though the aftertaste is sweet. Texture like water.
Astral Draw
A sudden feeling of joy, as though everyone in the room has just told you that they love you and truly meant it.Potion is a red-violet colour. Tastes like pine trees and berries. Texture is not too far from oil, and it slips down the throat just the same.
Lucid Dreaming
A potion that feels as though you have just woken from the best dream of your life and enjoyed the most delicious full body stretch imaginable. Has a long half life in the body. May even last through to the next morning. Things just feel good on this potion.A lurid purple potion that stains the lips and tastes like candied flowers. The texture is no different than the lightest of syrups, and the sensation of drinking it altogether too pleasant to consider.
Benefic
A simple, peach coloured potion that tastes like plums. It gives the drinker the feeling one might have after they have just been given delightful back scratches.
Serin's Shortbreads

Yafaem Wildgrass
One might think the herb loved by Chocobos all over Eorzea might be a dull thing, but this particular variety will see you active, happy, and just about ready to hug everyone in a ten yalm radius. Please remember consent is important, and exercise caution when going in for a snuggle.
Malefic
This potent potable will, when imbibed, make the drinker’s aether react very poorly. Not able to reach for it, or not able to reach for it the right way. Aspects skewed and bent, with no control. Not to be given lightly, and not to one of your friends.Radioactive looking orange, this potion burns rather brightly in the bottle. It tastes like storm sap and makes the mouth feel as though you’ve just swallowed a lightning bolt. Very thin texture, smells like ozone
The Quiet Curse
A potion that happened after an ill fated trip to the library, it silences the drinker’s voice entirely. Only their breath and their heartbeat can be heard, and in high enough doses it can steal the sound of that as well. A magic user will have great trouble reaching for spells. Has little effect on those with low aether densities, though it will still silence their voice.A pinkish colour reminding someone of wrong looking skin, this potion smells faintly of blood. It tastes like copper on the tongue, though it can be masked in very strong drinks. Just being around it feels a bit unsettling, however. The texture is similar to ink, and leaves a dirty feeling on the tongue
Repose
An incredibly insidious poison that takes its sweet time in working. When applied to the inside of a cup, on a fork, a plate, or anywhere - it will enter the body of the one who drinks it. Hours later the signs of the poison leave the receptacle, and the person walks away. Six days pass between the drinking and the dying, with the corpse resembling a person in deep sleep. A lulling death.Pale, soothing lavender in colour. Tastes like nothing, smells like nothing. Has no visual tell other than the colour in the bottle, and is thin enough that the colour dissipates when applied to whatever vessel
Bog Standard Misery
A standard poison, one which can be placed on weapon or in a vessel. Mixed with any liquid, it does afford a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Not so subtle as its cousin Repose, it'll do the job in short order.*A transparent potion, with a light hue of brownish green. Smells like earth and tastes slightly bitter.
Collective Unconscious
A potion of forgetfulness. A tonic made carefully with alyssum flowers, dream flowers, and intelligence dissolvent that will see the drinker forget up to a moon of time depending on the dosage. If too much is given, the drinker might forget more than that - and those memories might never return. Amnesia in a bottle.A royal, dark purple. This potion is one that glows ever so slightly in the bottle, but does not when added to a drink. It tastes like wine, though the texture is thicker. The giver might want to get their drinker a little inebriated before taking it - or it can be injected straight into the bloodstream with a syringe. Smells like dream flowers, the aroma of it faintly dizzying
Umbral Draw
Umbral Draw will read a person’s cards into darkness, and they will feel an enormous feeling of dread and paranoia that will last for days.A dark potion, set with pinpricks of violet light. It tastes cloying and sweet, and colours the tongue black. The texture is similar to a heavy syrup.
BEE ROLLS
A handrolled cigarette that looks and smells like Lavender Rose, but will make the smoker very attractive to bees for a week after consumption.
Helios
To earn brightness, to earn joy, to earn the easing of all the aches in your body. Formulated as a painkiller, Helios has been known to work wonders on the aches and pains of any sore adventurer. It has the added effect of relaxing the mind as well. Try it and set yourself in a warm room with good company.A deeper blue than Esuna - and one that shines when the light goes through the bottle. It smells of lavender and clary sage, and has a very thin texture in the mouth. Like drinking water, but with a distinctly herbal aftertaste
Helios Conjunction
Extra strength Helios with the added power of Combust. A deliciously delightful potion - and not one for people who are unused to drugs. Take at your peril (you will be knocked unconscious if you drink too much) if you are not a seasoned functioning opiate addict like Yesui.A cheerful, yellow potion that tastes exactly like the freshest lemon you’ve ever smelled. A little sour, with a note of spice on the end. The potion goes down just like a juice might.
Macrocosmos
A strange potion that causes the drinker to feel as though every sensation they experience is delayed...pain, pleasure, even movement. It’s as though time itself is holding onto each moment before suddenly releasing them all at once when the effect ends. Can cause clumsy movements and delayed reactions. Used for pain management, allowing injuries to be endured without immediate suffering.Dark red in colour, it tastes a bit like green herbs and stone, almost. The texture is thick, and slow down the throat.
Nocturnal Sect
A simple sleep aid, made with mostly herbal ingredients. It is the mild dexterity dissolvent that helps the brew along. When taken in doses too large, it will not nudge the tired into sleep, but shove the waking into dreams. Side effects: Groggy in the morning, hard to get out of bed. Maybe not waking up for three days if you drink too much.Smoke coloured, tasting of valerian and alyssum. Herbal flavoured, and very thin in the mouth. It glows very faintly, and the light has been described as soothing

Nhaama’s Blessed Tit
Yesui’s scale oil.A thick oil that smells of lavender and rose, and leaves a shining moisture where it is rubbed into the scales. Much too heavy a moisturiser for skin, it makes the scales it is used on softer to the touch and more pliable. Helps with scale chapping, and scale loss. Good for healing dryness
Opposition
Levin mint forms much of the matter for the base stages of this potion, and because of that it burns more brightly against what clogs your mind. It will not make you forget your problems, but the clarity it gives you might help you face them unafraid.A pale purple, much like the base colour of the plant that gives this potion its base. It seems to crackle in the bottle, and there is the faint sound of static when held up to the ear/horn/whatever. It tastes electric, and burns on the tongue and down the throat. Very thin texture - like fine oil
Intersection
A powerful potion for healers, that strengthens their abilities for a short time. All spells and enchantments will be more effective, and come much easier. It wears off rather quickly, and leaves the drinker exhausted and unable to heal for some time. An emergency brew for the worst life or death situations. Increases aetheric density temporarily by drawing in ambient aether, when that aether dissipates, it takes much of the drinker’s with it. Bedrest is the only real fix for the side effects.This potion is like condensed light, brilliant and glittering. It is faintly silver, with more of an astral aspected aether. It tastes like vinegar, and has the same texture. Not pleasant to drink, and will leave the drinker flinching. Smells like fermented apples
Minor Arcana
A brew made for sharing aether. Go through things, and into the very heart of a person’s innermost sanctum - reading the cards that make up the whole. This crystalline, glowing white potion will allow the drinkers to commune with each other on an aetheric level. While it does help prevent some of the physical side effects from having too much of a hold over the body (it removes much of the possible euphoria), it can leave the drinkers tired after taking them.Bottled prisms, this potion is all colours and no colours all at once. When held up to the light it casts rainbows, and shines and shimmers like the brightest of crystals. Tastes like rainwater with the slightest hint of something bitter. Texture is viscous, and difficult to swallow
Earthly Star
A truly serious potion that helps a person with their persuasion. It does not make a person completely believable, but it helps their tongue form words more easily. Makes simple lies seem more truthful. Instills a bit of confidence, though most of it is pride. One must be careful, as pride can quickly lead to a serious tumble. A minor sibling to Sun Sign.The colour of the potion is a bright, cheerful sky blue. Tastes like mint and pepper. Somewhat viscous on the tongue.
Essential Dignity
A truth potion. Enough of this potion will cause a person to speak only the truth for a period of a day or more, too much will twist their perception of the truth itself forever more. The effect can be hedged through careful answer, but the side effect that lingers after is cruel. The very idea of a lie might make a person cry, or rage.Flavourless, odourless, colourless. Dangerous.
Lightspeed
A potion to help a person move quickly through their work. It keeps the mind honed and the reflexes sharp. It has a swift and horrible come down after about six bells. The basis for this potion is Ascend, and so it has many of the same properties. This one tends to help both the physical AND mental rigors of hard work. It will see hard labour done more quickly, at the expense of more pain afterward.Zaps the tongue when you drink it, an almost neon yellow. The taste is reminiscent of the best kind of honey: One with a bit of a sting on the end of the taste, as though it remembered the bee that made it.
Oracle
True short-term foresight. It leaves the user with a terrible headache and a confusion of the whens after the effect wears off. The hue of the potion is hard to determine, as if it is as ever shifting as the future.It tastes like nothing, but also everything.
Sun Sign
A golden glow briefly radiates from the drinker's skin, and they feel an overwhelming surge of charisma and confidence. For the duration of the effect, they genuinely believe they are the most important person in the room—and act accordingly. Compliments flow easily, laughter feels richer, and they exude an almost magnetic charm. A potion that enhances the confidence, presence, and persuasion of a person beyond reason, almost. Good for people trying to inspire others, but sometimes bad for those that are being inspired.The colour is a brilliant, glowing orange - stunning and glittering. It tastes like the sunshine might on the dew of a flower, and the feel of it is warm and clean on the tongue.
Gravity
One to be shared with someone you love, or just someone you would like to have a bit of fun with. Gravity will see your senses heightened, and your pleasure rapturous.A deeper violet colour. This potion smells of spices, and tastes like cinnamon and cream. It does not glow, as such, but when shaken it appears that little pinpricks of light scatter in the bottle
Synastry
Another potion meant for lovers, this brew will see an echoed sensation shared between whoever drinks from the same bottle. The brush of a finger against a lip has never felt so intimate.This potion is clear, though when shaken it turns a creamy colour. It smells like nothing, and tastes like nothing. Can be put into any drink - though drinks that have a higher caffeine content will see the brew not work as well. Best to be had straight from the bottle
Miser’s Mistress
A special request made available to the public: This potion is not to be imbibed, but is instead meant to be poured on a clean, safe space. Ensure that you are careful where you pour, because when you do several large tentacles - not unlike those belonging to a morbol, will have their way with whatever they can. (You, and howevermany friends).Thick, gloopy, green. It is the same colour as a Morbol, though it doesn’t smell nearly half as bad. Instead it smells like moss and trees, very natural. It doesn’t glow, or sparkle, or shine. It’s viscous, and makes a splat sound when it hits the floor
Zenith
A topical oil that when applied makes the skin incredibly sensitive, warm to the touch, and incredibly easy to manipulate. To be used between consenting partners, it will light up all the nerves at once in the most pleasurable way. One might thank the tincture of Alyssum and Levin Mint for the base.Clear and oily, and smelling of spice and sugar. A little goes a long way with this oil, and one bottle will last many uses
Fools Gold
A special request made public: This potion will give a person with a vagina a penis. Fully functional, save that whatever release it has can not get the party receiving said release pregnant. It will not remove the vagina entirely, so all sorts of opportunities for fun. When the person taking the potion has found their release, the effect will subside. It works by enlarging and hardening several of the female tissues and sex organs (clitoris, labia majora, vulva), and is incredibly uncomfortable at first.Salty to taste, and creamy in colour.
